Sneaker Size Guide for Bulk Buyers: EU/US/UK Charts and Mixed-Size Ratios

Getting the size breakdown wrong is the most expensive mistake in a first order, because unsold extreme sizes are very hard to move later. This page gives the conversion charts we work with and the mixed-size ratios our customers reorder most often.
Men's size conversion
| EU | US | UK | Insole length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 39 | 6.5 | 6 | 24.5 |
| 40 | 7 | 6.5 | 25.0 |
| 41 | 8 | 7.5 | 26.0 |
| 42 | 8.5 | 8 | 26.5 |
| 43 | 9.5 | 9 | 27.5 |
| 44 | 10 | 9.5 | 28.0 |
| 45 | 11 | 10.5 | 29.0 |
| 46 | 12 | 11 | 29.5 |
Women's size conversion
| EU | US | UK | Insole length (cm) |
|---|---|---|---|
| 35 | 5 | 2.5 | 22.5 |
| 36 | 5.5 | 3 | 23.0 |
| 37 | 6.5 | 4 | 23.5 |
| 38 | 7.5 | 5 | 24.5 |
| 39 | 8 | 5.5 | 25.0 |
| 40 | 9 | 6.5 | 25.5 |
| 41 | 9.5 | 7 | 26.0 |
These are the charts our factory patterns follow. Always allow 0.5–1 cm of extra room at the toe for sports styles, because feet swell during the day and thick socks change the fit.
Mixed-size ratios we ship most often
Ordering the same quantity of every size is the fastest way to a pile of dead stock. A ratio keeps your shelves balanced:
- Men's, EU 39–45: 1 : 2 : 3 : 3 : 2 : 1 : 1
- Men's, EU 40–44 (tighter range): 1 : 2 : 3 : 2 : 1
- Women's, EU 35–41: 1 : 2 : 3 : 3 : 2 : 1 : 1
- Unisex skate styles: 2 : 3 : 4 : 3 : 2 across EU 38–42
The middle sizes always move fastest. Extreme sizes are the ones to keep thin.

Foot shape matters more than the label
Two markets with the same average EU size can need completely different stock:
- Wider feet / high instep: choose a roomier last, or buy one size up in the ratio. Do not simply stretch the size range.
- Narrow feet: a slim last sells better, and customers will complain that the "correct" size feels loose otherwise.
- Children's sizes: buy by age band, not by guesswork. Growth means parents buy one size up — see children's shoes.
How to test before a full container
- Order a size set (one pair per size) before the bulk order.
- Put it in one or two shops for two weeks and write down which sizes sell out first.
- Place the bulk order using that observed curve, not a generic one.
This costs a few pairs and two weeks. It is far cheaper than a container of unsold EU 39s and EU 46s.
If you are unsure between two size ranges, choose the tighter one for the first order and reorder. Stock that sells out is a good problem; stock that does not move is not.
